I am a Real Madrid fan from India. I have been a Madridista since 2002 and I’ve enjoyed every moment of it. I have liked several other clubs across the world but this is the only club that I have loved and will love for the rest of my life. I love the club’s style of football, their attitude to succeed and of course their glorious history. I love the Santiago Bernabeu and it my dream to one day visit the great stadium and watch my favourite team play. My favourite players are Raul, Guti, Casillas and Ramos from the current roster and Zidane, Figo, Beckham, Hierro, Roberto Carlos, Michael Laudrup, Emilio Butragueno from the past. I am a big fan of Spain and I am not fond of Barcelona.
All readers are welcome to comment on the posts I make. The interviews and reports are generally from the club’s homepage and I don’t think it makes sense to complain that I am copying. I can’t make up interviews nor write what didn’t happen in the match can I?
Hala Madrid has been up and running ever since the beginning of the season in which we won the 31st La Liga title. Initially it was just a site of Match Reports. But since May 2008 it became a full fledged blog including all kinds of stuff about Real Madrid. I hope to continue with my good work for as long as possible and hope that during that time Real Madrid wins everything there is to win playing the same kind of football that attracted me and several other Madridistas.

I’ve got almost exactly the same Madridista history as you do – I became a fan during the 2001-02 season, I like the Spanish internationals in the current team (needless to say I’ll forever have a soft spot for the three in the Euro 2008 squad), and I have a great respect for Zidane, Figo, Roberto Carlos and Hierro as well!
Needless to say, I’m a big fan of Spain and am not fond of Barca either.
Great….but you guys don’t need to mention that we are not a Barca fan! Anyone who is fan of Real cannot be fan of Barca!
Plz Real, win CL and Barcelona this season; you have one of the best teams in history. And focus also in defense, not only in offense. This is why it was defeated by Milan.

Thank you for the great site, i visit daily. I have been a fan for 18 years or so now (i am 23). My father is from Malaga, and my mothers blood is from aragon but i have my heart in madrid. Fond is too nice a word, i hate barca. Thank you again sir!

On personal front I am a Madridista- been since the late nineties and no I am not a fan. I have Madrid in my blood so much so that it spells Real Madrid when it spills! It’s an expression incomprehensible to most who just love to watch the game w/o that passion. Hala Madrid!
