Manuel Pellegrini told the media his main objective is to win every game left in the campaign.

Every opponent will be complicated to defeat at this stage in the season. We are having a great run in La Liga. We’ve been able to make comebacks in difficult moments, fighting hard for the title against a great Barcelona. We’ve taken an incredible number of points already. This squad will showcase it’s character to the end.

Pressure:

We feel the same pressure every week. Tension is always the same because I always want my team to perform at the same high level. We’ve been fighting for the title being level or just slightly behind Barcelona all season. I hope we can win the league title by not dropping any points and focusing just on ourselves. We shouldn’t worry about what Barcelona do or fail to achieve.

Style:

Our style is suited to our characteristics and virtues. We have straightforward players. We combine teamwork with individual efforts. People say we don’t use the wings enough, but I think that’s not true. We wouldn’t have been able to score so many goals if we hadn’t made use of them.
