Sergio Ramos press conference

During Monday’s press conference, Sergio Ramos reiterated the sentiment expressed by his coach and teammates following Saturday’s defeat against Barcelona.

"We need to focus on winning the next seven games"

Title hopes:

This team will fight to the death to win this league. We need to be at our strongest. Twenty-one points are still in play. The lead is manageable, so we need to win the seven remaining matches. Thinking about Barcelona’s road matches against Sevilla and Villarreal is inevitable. There is a chance they won’t earn all those points and we aspire to take all of ours. The league we won with Capello appeared to be lost but we ended up winning it.

Almeria:

Whether I play as a center back against Almeria due to Garay’s absence is up to the coach. All I am interested in is playing. It’s an honor to play for this team.

Pellegrini:

We are standing by Pellegrini through thick and thin and always have. He has our full support  and we will always assume responsibilty for him.

Real Oviedo 2-1 Real Madrid Castilla

The match did not disappoint football fans. Castilla gradually grabbed the reins of the encounter following Ovideo’s first strike. Unfortunately, bad luck hit the Whites when Pelayo scored again for the locals just before half-time. Castilla again dominated during the second half, but only Mateos managed to score from a free-kick.
