Comparison with Barcelona:

I cannot compare my team with a side that has won titles. I said this team has earned the best numbers in 15 years in order to defend a project that everyone had been praising until we lost on Tuesday. It now seems to be a disaster. The figures we are earning support what we do. I never intended to disrespect other players or teams; that’s just an interpretation some people made.

Lyon:

Nobody was happy with the defeat in Lyon. Most people were happy with the team’s performances in Coruña, Xerez and Barcelona [Espanyol]. The Club’s project is global. The team’s numbers will be obvious by the time the season ends.

Our system didn’t change at all against Olympique. Lass had only played one game, the previous one, after missing two weeks. The rest played in their usual positions. There are no differences between Lass and Diarra; they have the same characteristics.
