Para siempre blanco!

The trash talk continues

The Clasico saw us play our hearts out and even take the game to the mighty Barcelona side and if it wasn’t for the offside goal that Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored or the numerous saves that Carles Puyol did and of course the Ronaldo miss we would be sailing on top of the table. But since it is me who says If my aunt had been a man I’d have called her my uncle. There are no ifs nor buts here. We lost a game which we would’ve won if it wasn’t for the crucial factor called luck.

Anyhoo moving on, the trash talk still hasn’t stopped. There was a lot of talking going on prior to the match like always and now its time for some post-match trash talk.

Dani Alves has said that the cules’ victory in El Clasico was a “great win” and also joked that Cristiano Ronaldo was a little short of his 10 or 20 goal target. Ronaldo had joked midweek that he would like to score 10 or 20 goals against the champions in El Clasico and Alves countered in kind after his side emerged as winners. According to AS:

It’s great to win and also reclaim the lead. They [Madrid] didn’t take their chances and we did. In these games we don’t care how we win as long as we win. Cristiano Ronaldo? After much time out it is normal that he was a little lacking in rhythm in the game. He had their best chance in the first half but failed. It’s a little short of his desire to score 10 or 20 goals.

Andes ‘Casper’ Iniesta was apparently left incensed after Ronaldo told him to stop diving during El Clasico. The midfielder fell to the ground rather easily twice in the first half with the second time meriting a response from CR9.

However, Iniesta has questioned whether the 24-year-old is the best person to offer advice on diving considering his own sketchy record of staying on his feet.

It annoyed me that Cristiano told me not to dive because he is not exactly the best person to tell anyone that. He should not be telling anyone whether they dived or not.

You too bum me out? Is there anything you can do about it? No. So why don’t STFU?

All this shyte seems to be insult to injury. And I’m glad that no Madridista has retaliated yet. It only means one thing. We’re gonna let the football do the talking. I already cannot wait for April 10, 2010.

We should’ve shut them up. We didn’t. And now we have got to wait till April 10, 2010.

Spot on. The Cules earned their rights to talk.

The screen shot on top of the post does not say so Trev.

What the hell? What are you saying Bruno? How the hell did they earn their rights? By scoring an illegitimate goal? I really don’t think so. We’ve would’ve mothered them if it wasn’t for one and I mean exactly one player in their team – Carles Puyol i Saforcada. He made more saves than Valdes did. It was a game that Real should’ve taken three points from.

Haha yeah! Saforcada? What the hell does that mean?

Barça deserved a point whether we like it or not. I am not happy about it. I am a Madridista. A genuine one. But still I am convinced that they capitalised on whatever they got even though it is a refereeing blunder.

We had enough time to score between the time Busquets got sent off and Lass saw red. We couldn’t capitalize on that added advantage.

What I don’t understand is why Benzema didn’t start?

  10. Evarado

Trevor, you are right. We didn’t capitalise on that. But the necessity just was not there. We were playing well. Our strategy worked perfectly. We had them on their knees on every single counter attack. We were comfortable with them on the ball and whenever we won the ball, and that was almost everytime they attacked, we pounced on them on the counter. They clearly relied on those three saves from Puyol and that poor finish from Ronaldo.

I think Evarado here is making no sense at all. If we were on our knees to you cunts in white we’d have not won. We were statistically the better side. We had as many chances or even more chances than you whites had. Don’t blame Christian for his finish. It was Valdes who stopped him with a wonderful save.

We prefer to call him Cristiano.

  13. Trevor

Ah! For Christ’s sake Risk Factor! Please don’t tell me it wasn’t Cristiano’s poor finish!

It doesn’t matter what you prefer Sylar boy.

I loved the way we made Messi, Xavi and Iniesta look like nobodies.

It would have been the perfect Clasico if Ronaldo had scored.

  18. Risk Factor

Look like nobodies? Haha! Did you even watch the match? They were the ones who had the ball almost all of the time.

    December 5, 2009 at 9:10 pm

  19. Bru

And still they managed to do nothing. Which is why we say they were made to look like nobodies.

Raul should’ve played a bigger role in the game was what I thought. We need a predator inside the box like him. An opportunist. Higuain is not Raul even though he is one of the best strikers in Spain if not the World.

Benzema and Higuain have a lot to learn from the master.

    December 5, 2009 at 9:15 pm

  21. Bru

Why shouldn’t Cristiano tell Iniesta not to dive?

    December 5, 2009 at 9:16 pm

  22. Risk Factor

Oh my God! And I thought Sylar was the only numb skull here.

    December 5, 2009 at 9:16 pm

  23. Bernardo

So have you realized that you are the only one?

    December 5, 2009 at 9:17 pm

  24. Henriques

    Haha!

    December 5, 2009 at 9:18 pm

  25. Trevor

I agree with you on that Evarado. Benzema and Pipa are no predators. Raul must really tell Benzema more than Higuain that he can only become Luiz Ronaldo if he plays inside the box more than trying o cut in from the left wing.

    December 5, 2009 at 9:19 pm

  26. Evarado

    Agreed.

And AS says Cristiano used to do 3000 abs per day. :O

    December 5, 2009 at 9:23 pm

  31. Sylar

Read that as well. I think AS is exaggerating. No human can do that in a single day.

    December 5, 2009 at 9:23 pm

  32. Bru

    Cristiano is no human. :D
