The Spanish FA celebrates its centenary on Saturday, the same day Iker Casillas will earn his 100th cap for La Roja, with a high-profile friendly against Argentina.

Seven Madridistas will be on the sidelines for the special encounter. Casillas, Arbeloa, Sergio Ramos, Albiol and Xabi Alonso will suit up for Spain, while Higuain and Gago have been called up by Diego Maradona.
Only 28-years old, Iker Casillas willl earn his 100th cap with Spain in Saturday’s match against Argentina. Only two other Spanish players have reached that number: Zubizarreta (126) and Raul (102). Casillas will become the 164th player to earn at least 100 international caps. Others are legends such as Matthäus, Beckenbauer, Zidane, Maldini, Cannavaro and Hagi.
Other goalkeepers in this select group of players are Dino Zoff, Peter Schmeichel, Edwin Van der Sar, Kasey Keller, Jorge Campos and Taffarel. The goalkeepers with the most international caps are Saudi Mohammed al Deayea and Mexican Claudio Suarez (177 each). Casillas will wear a special pair of gloves to commemorate the event.
On the other hand, Iker Casillas will probably play his 100th match in the Champions League on 25 November, when the Whites are set to face FC Zurich.While La Roja won their ten World Cup qualifiers and have notched 17 victories in their last 18 games, Argentina defeated Uruguay in the last round of qualifiers to clinch their berth in South Africa.
Spain have played Argentina eleven times and won four times, drawn once and lost five. They first met in 1952 in the Bernabeu and last squared off in 2006. Only once have they played in official competition; the 1966 World Cup in England.
