Para siempre blanco!

Real Madrid Castilla 0-0 Cerro de Reyes

Football requires the ability to make adjustments due to player injuries and suspensions, and that is just what Alejandro Menendez did on Sunday with Real Madrid Castilla’s starting eleven. Luis Hernandez stepped in for an injured Javier Velayos and with Gary out due to suspension, Juanan and Mateos paired up in the middle of the back line. Unfortunately, however, even Javier Acuña’s second-half appearance couldn’t produce a goal and the youth side only mustered up a 0-0 draw against Cerro de Reyes at Alfredo di Stefano stadium. On the bright side, it was Castilla’s first shutout of the season and they extended their undefeated streak to five matches.

Notes: Week 7 of Segunda Division B Group II

Played at: Alfredo di Stefano stadium.
